Work on the test turned into an intense 5 years
I joined System4 as an office coordinator at the time when the company was celebrating 15 years of operation. So this September it will be 5 years already. When I started here, I had a wish to do a job where there would be nice people and I would like to go there. And I’ve done that. At System4 I like the family, friendly and even punk atmosphere and the facilities are great.
After half a year of working in this position, I have gradually added the agenda of a sales assistant, which I have been fully devoting myself to for the last 4 years. It involves supporting salespeople in the overall sales process – from creating quotes, to communicating with our technicians, suppliers, customers and invoicing. I enjoy this job, it’s definitely not stereotypical. Plus, when I get a successful tender for ambulance services or schools, for example, it gives me a whole new purpose and keeps me motivated. The possibility of home offices and working from anywhere is also a big advantage. I use this, for example, when I go to visit my family who live 200 km from Brno.
I’ve collected a lot of experiences
In addition to intensive work, there are also intensive company events. I have a lot of experiences, but I would like to mention Christmas parties, which thanks to covid have turned into advent walks in nature and which end in forest bars with a cheerful mood and headlamps on my head. I’ve also experienced a few teambuldings on bicycles. A visit to the Bull Rock Cave was a very powerful experience, where we waded and at one point crawled through cold water.
And what do I enjoy most in my personal life?
I like dancing Lindy-Hop (swing), hardening (diving) in the river or in the quarry, cycling in summer, cross-country skiing in winter, culture in general (theatre, concerts), beer and board games with friends, travelling. My favourite thing is trekking in the mountains. The most interesting place I visited in the last years was Madeira and especially the climb up Pico Ruivo, the highest mountain of Madeira.
